In 2004, I decided to play dress-up. I was living in my RV up on the hill...as a full-time RVer. Not something I'd do again, but for five years, it was quite an experience. Me and my cat, Prowler.

This photo was taken in 2004 in front of my little RV on the prairie...Prowler was about 3 years old.  Unfortunately, Prowler had to be put to sleep on January 18. 2011 because of the second flare-up of a back injury that had first plagued her in 2009.  I'm just glad I was able to be part of her life for the extra year after it first happened.

December, 2006, one of the worst snowstorms ever in Albuquerque.  We got 29 inches of snow during about the last week of the month with two whopper blizzards that packed a lot of punch.  Since then, on Thursday, February 3, 2011, we had a real Arctic blast come through our state sending temps plummeting to -6 degrees right where I live and a high not above 12 degrees.  Only about 6" of snow fell, however, since most of the white stuff was blown around us by the "East Canyon Winds" that we frequently get here.

Here is a recent webcam photo.  If you'd like to see the latest, slide on over to my karaoke videos on

It opens in a new window.

This one goes back to 1977.  Here I am with the type of glasses that are in style again, sort of.  I also had HAIR.  And lots of it.  It was LONG.  Notice also the wide collar on my shirt.  Again, the style back then.  Lettie is the other victim in the photo...my first ex.  She was wearing a brown one-piece jumpsuit.  This photo was scanned in directly from a slide.

Now we go way back to 2005.  I was at the flea market as a vendor and making a little extra money to help augment my meager income.  Behind me, you'll see bandannas and "Du-rags," sort of a head hugger type of bandanna that was preshaped to a person's head.  It's what you see a lot of bikers wear.  They don't make very good helmets, that's for sure.
